Alexandra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Addiction Counselor based in Denver, Colorado, with specialized training in play and art therapy. Alexandra works with individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges related to relationships, addiction, trauma, parenting and co-parenting, and emotional well-being.

With over 15 years of experience in the field of therapy, Alexandra has found that she is particularly effective in working with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Her clinical approach is grounded in compassion, tailored interventions, and a deep understanding of neurodiversity and emotional regulation. She believes in creating a safe space where clients can be fully themselves—but she also believes growth requires honesty. She won’t shy away from gently challenging patterns that may be holding clients back. She calls it how she sees it, and she does so with respect, compassion, sometimes humor, and a genuine desire to help clients move forward.

Alexandra brings a wide range of clinical experience to her work, having served in settings including corrections, at-risk youth facilities, crisis centers, in-home family therapy services, and community mental health. These experiences have deepened her ability to meet clients where they are, no matter what they’re facing, and to offer grounded, nonjudgmental support through even the most complex circumstances.

She is well-versed in multiple therapeutic modalities and tailors her approach to what best fits the individual, couple, or family. Whether integrating expressive techniques like play and art therapy or drawing from structured, evidence-based practices, her focus is always on finding what works for the client.

Therapy with Alexandra feels steady, clarifying, and empowering. It’s a place where insight leads to action — and action leads to change.
