Julie believes therapy should remove barriers. She works intentionally to make support accessible, practical, and deeply human. And with a wealth of training and tools at the ready, Julie is equipped to see you all the way through from where you are today to where you want to go.

At the heart of Julie’s work is relationship. Healing begins when someone feels genuinely seen, heard, and understood. From that foundation of empathy and trust, she blends a strengths-based approach with compassionate challenge. She will sit with you in the hard places — and she will gently invite you forward when you’re ready.

Julie works with clients across the lifespan navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, foster care and adoption concerns, cross-cultural adjustment, and spiritual questions. Drawing from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Alternatives for Families CBT, she creates structure without rigidity — clarity without pressure.

Her trauma training is extensive – using Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, and Rapid Resolution Therapy, Julie will walk you through the adverse experiences that have accumulated throughout your life and take you to a new and deeper level of meaning and understanding – where triumph springs out of the tragic.
