Whitney Sundquist Jose
MA, LPC, RPT-S
Powerful, transformative, and profoundly relatable therapy that nurtures in you the hope of healing, instills in you the courage to really look at your past, empowers you to rewrite your old stories, and - all along the way - helps you rewire your brain to boldly move into new ways of living: Me. You. Together.
Whitney truly believes she has the best job in the world. She gets to sit at the crossroads of heartbreak and hope — walking with men and women through trauma, grief, disorientation, self-doubt, and life transitions — and witnessing what happens when healing begins to take hold.
For over 25 years in private practice, Whitney has devoted herself to helping clients who feel stuck finally experience movement. Using EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems in an integrative and attuned way, she helps desensitize overwhelming emotions, untangle old belief systems, and rewrite the stories that once defined you. What once felt fixed becomes flexible. What once felt heavy begins to lift.
Whitney is especially energized by neuroscience’s reminder that our past is not permanent. The brain can change. The body can release. Beliefs can be reshaped. And when that shift happens — when a client begins operating from self-compassion instead of shame, from internal power instead of fear — something remarkable unfolds. You don’t just cope better. You live differently.
In the therapy room, Whitney creates a brave and compassionate space where every part of you is welcome — even the parts you’d rather avoid. Together, you will examine the patterns that once felt comfortable but limiting, uncover the deeper story beneath your thoughts and reactions, and move toward a life that feels more aligned, peaceful, and fulfilling.
Healing, to Whitney, is not theoretical. It is experiential. It is embodied. It is possible.
And she holds unwavering faith that you can create the happiness and connection you long for — in life and in relationships.
