Gina Gardner-Wood
LCSW
Reconnect with your strength. Restore your balance. Move forward with confidence. A compassionate, solution-focused approach that helps you access your inner resources and build a more grounded, empowered life.
Gina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has called Colorado home since 2001. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Colorado, completing her graduate training in 2014. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to helping people reconnect with their strength, restore balance, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Gina brings extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of clinical settings. She supports clients navigating substance use, addiction, domestic violence, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She is Level II trained in EMDR, a powerful and evidence-based trauma therapy, and is also trained in The Gottman Method, helping couples strengthen connection, rebuild trust, and develop healthier, more resilient relationships. Her work addresses both the emotional roots of distress and the practical steps needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
Gina’s approach is mindful, strength-based, and solution-focused. She believes that each person already carries the capacity for healing and growth, and her role is to help clients access and build upon those inner resources. She creates a grounded, compassionate space where clients feel deeply heard and understood, while also helping them develop the insight, skills, and resilience needed to move forward. Her presence is warm, steady, and encouraging, offering both support and gentle, honest guidance when needed.
She has witnessed firsthand the profound transformation that becomes possible when people are given the right support—watching clients move from survival into a renewed sense of empowerment, possibility, and self-trust. Gina is deeply honored to walk alongside her clients as they reclaim their voice, strengthen their relationships, and align more fully with the life they want to live.
Outside of her work, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters, cheering on football games, and walking her two dogs. These moments help keep her grounded in the same values she brings to her work: connection, presence, and appreciation for life’s meaningful relationships.
